About Melissa, LAMFT (she/her)

As a therapist, I offer a space where you can explore the deeper layers of your experiences — beyond surface-level coping strategies. While coping skills can be useful, I believe true growth comes from understanding the roots of your challenges and gaining clarity about yourself and your path. My approach is grounded in warmth and compassion, creating an environment where you can feel safe to delve into your thoughts and emotions without judgement. Together, we’ll navigate the complexities of your inner world, fostering insight and connection to help you live more authentically and wholeheartedly.

I believe that healing doesn’t always have to be heavy. While we’ll tackle the tough stuff, I also use a touch of humor to help lighten the load and create a space where you can feel at ease. Humor has a way of breaking down walls, offering perspective, and reminding us of our shared humanity. I find it important to provide a balance of deep exploration and moments of levity to support your growth and self-discovery.

I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities into my practice, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Collaborative Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Feminist Theory, and Internal Family Systems, to provide a comprehensive and tailored approach to client care. I strive to create a collaborative and holistic process that honors all aspects of who you are.
